    Default Locksmith Square Petition: Add Stone of Change

    So. Items with guild slots and +20HP guild bonus made appearances in multiple builds since they were introduced. However, it always bugged me, that to use those I need to first go to locksmith square in house K to buy augment crystal, then go to marketplace to apply it. As we all know, zoning in DDO multiple times often leads to performance drop.
    "Solution" would be to put appropriate crafting device in vicinity of vendors selling augments. It would possibly reduce time spent on "inventory management" or "buffing". this would be handy change to players.

    Before posting this thread, I consulted it with guildies - their opinion was that this is a good idea, and as such it will be rejected by Turbine.

    for flavor, i propose there be a NPC introduced to locksmith square who takes your item and your crystal and joins the two together. then at least we could do away with the annoyingly slow animation that you get from the stone of change. said npc could also be able to remove a partially used up crystal and replace it with a fresh one, something the stone of change can't do at the moment.

    Just make slotting a guild augment stackable as long as it's the exact same type. Stuff in 10 of those for 60 hours worth, no more need to walk back and forth daily - regardless of position - at all.

    I /sign this. It's pretty annoying having to run to and from places. Teleport helps, but on melees who can't UMD a scroll it sucks.

    The addition of the guild vendors was a great idea for DDO however it has just been implemented very poorly. In a fantasy based game with some role playing to it (D&D) there should always be abiance and story. To just drop a vendor somewhere really has to stop in DDO. All vendors shoukld be surrounded with some kind of theme.

    And definitely /signed to having them last longer than six hours. Are we seriously intended to craft two of the same item, so that we can start a raid when one of them is down to 20 minutes and still have the item's effect at the end of the raid?

    In the interim, I've found that using the SOC in the Twelve is a useful workaround. Zoning is zoning, but it isn't always zoning zoning.
