We could do it like 2-3 min faster if i was willing to spam more spells at the mindflayers and if YOU didnt have madstone boots on and could cast solid fog! I had bees on me you know and couldnt buff them dogs!

Well, because many groups run with non-TRs (with multiple lives, for example), at level, who do not have, say, 5+ pieces of Epic gear / greensteel on their character.

Hound can be an easy raid when everyone performs as they should, but in the same way, when people do not perform, it can sour very quickly.

At level=with lvl20s and still...they are 12!The issue is that no1 listen/read the instructions...imo!

Ah, no. Hound is a level 18 quest (http://ddowiki.com/page/Hound_of_Xoriat).

It is 19 on Hard (which is what you did - see your own screen shot above) and 20 at Elite.

And yes, those 2 levels make a difference.

Getting there is hard, for a start.

Oh it's simple. People wipe because people don't listen.

People pick up stones and don't pass them nor admit they did.
People don't go where they are assigned to go.
People panic and forget everything when a beholder shows up.
People don't listen to where they're supposed to put globes.

On and on and on.

Running a PUG of this is the challenge, not shortmanning it .

Getting there is hard, for a start.

If you can't get there solo(*), imho, you shouldn't even be inside a raid on hard there. (of course soloing should take a little longer mind you)

How do you wipe here? by having 9 other people that do not listen, still require healing, and are incapable of contributing anything, but will readily run to the centre when chased by a 4 renders or a beholder for a hjeeel, for example.

(*) Not that you'd WANT to do it since some melees would use up a lot of healing resources, but I mean from a "could you do it" pov

I gotta agree...if you are epic geared party and wipe, then you have issues.
That epic gear really makes you more powerful than that raid supports, assuming you built right.

still, it is cool to do it with less people, always fun.
