Friends and Family DDO Beta access help.

Hey all, I'm trying to register and activate a Friends and Family DDO Beta access key. I have not purchased the expansion as of yet. When I go to myaccount.turbine.com it asks me to post the product key. I then enter the product key. It asks me if I have a turbine account and it asks me for the username and pass. I enter that along with the capcha and it takes it ok.

It then asks me for a forum username and password. I enter in my forum username and password and it tells me that the forums username and password is in use. I already have a forum username and password and I would very much like to use that to use for the forums. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There is an unfortunate technical issue with the friends and family keys that require you to create a new account and forum account when redeeming them. So, you will need to follow the steps as described in the redemption process and create a forum account that you will use to access the Beta forums. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello Cordovan, thanks for replying to my thread. I figured that I probably needed to make a new account within my main account to make I suppose a sub account. Either way I followed the process and created the account. I got into Lammania successfully.

Now that I have the 2 accounts, when the Beta is over will it be possible to remove the Beta account afterwards while leaving my main intact? Also can you unlock this forum account "Celastelin" for access to the beta forums? Thanks in advance, and the help so far!
