So I wanted to make a solo build for a 2H dwarf Bard. Whats a nice route to follow since I'm very new to the game.

The ghengis khan (sp?) build is very nice-16bard, 2 barbarian, 2 fighter iirc...warchanter, buff and smash. Should work OK as dwarf.
Classic Rocker should be your starting point.
For a dwarf War Chanter variant, I would personally drop Extend; it's not strictly required for a bard, though it is a big convenience. Others will probably disagree, and that's fine so long as they offer a logical reason.
Alternately, you could change the feat order around, drop Weapon Focus, and go Spellsinger. Anthios tends to envision high-end play (because that's how she plays), and for that, War Chanter makes a lot of sense. As a newer player, you'll benefit more from the Spellsinger's spell point regen than a veteran player would. Veteran players will tend to have more spell points to start with, thanks to gear; also, they'll tend to use spell points more efficiently, since they know exactly which buffs to skip and when to wand, scroll, or cast healing magic.
very newbie friendly is Tihocan's warchanter:

I vote for 16 brd/2 fgt/2 rog warchanter. Can do a little bit of everything, traps, locks, umd, evasion, and moderate melee dps. I went warforged personally, but dwarf would be fine too.
The Genghis Khan is a very famous warchanter with 2 levels of barbarian and 2 levels of fighter.

If you don't want to multiclass but still want to make a warchanter, then take a look at the classic rocker (Gorbadoc's link).
I myself have a 16 bard 4 fighter warchanter that i like a lot.
If i was you i would go human for the extra feat, especially if you don't want to multiclass with fighter.
Lastly, because you said you were new to the game, i would strongly advice you to use Tihocan's warchanter (use the link by cru121). It works well enough for a 1st life toon and by the time you reach 20 you will have learn some nice tricks about playing a warchanter (please use fascinate a lot when solo'ing !!).
Have a lot of fun, bards were my 1st choice and i never regretted it.
