Past Lives Advice

Hello there,

I'm Ryumajin of Cannith and i'm in the middle of TR PL grinding. So far i've gathered the following pastlives: 3 Wizard, 3 Barbarian, 2 Sorcerer. I'm doing a Sorc life right now and i'm wondering which PL should i get ... i'll go for a 14/6 or 15/5 build in case of a non sorc PL. Which one would you take first? Clerics PLs, FVS or the remaining Sorc life? Cosider that my Sorc in the endgame will be a human one cold savant with resonable high DCs (as reference on what i'll be in the endgame the third life on My DDO is representative).

Not an expert but a cleric past life for the extra conjuration focus for webs would not hurt!

I'd take one or two FVS past lifes. +1 SP and 20SP is always nice to have. However, I am too lazy and stopped at 3xWIZ and 3xSORC. When I'm bored of endgame then I will probably TR ;-)

If you take the wiz past life it acts as the feat you need to get the sorc savants so instead of +1 to evocation you get +1 to all spell schools and you open up your prestige line.

If you wanna max yourself out, cleric lives are nice for sure. Affects web and don't forget the Niac's SLA is also conju.

As are the acid spells, however it looks like you're nearly done with arcane PLs. If you're final class is an arcane and you like acid as much as i do, cleric PLs will come in handy.

no it doesn't.

the *sorcerer* past life feat can be taken instead (if, for some reason, you actually want to take it more than a spell focus).

which is beside the point, because he has access to the wizard past life feat already, and doesn't need to worry about getting any more wizard past lives.

@ OP: my inclination is to head for cleric as well. sadly, sorcerer/cleric is about as synergistic as something that isn't very synergistic at all. but the past life is definitely nice

(if you don't want cleric, i'd just stick with the third sorcerer life).

My order if I could start over:

Wiz x1 (active feat benefits all future builds)
FvS x3 (spellpen/mana for all!)
Clr x3 (get divine lives done with, amp your future webs/acid)
Wiz x2
Sorc x4


I'm debating 3x Arty in there before the final for the UMD, but having a hard time doing 3 lives for 3umd. You might be more interested since you did 3 (ugh) Barb lives.
