"The connection to the server had been lost"

Hello all! Approximitely 3 hours ago i pre-purchased the underdark pack (collector's edition), i was too exited to play and logged quickly into my account and carefully chose my main toon (for lesser tome), but as soon as the loading screen went and my toon became visible, on the top left corner of the screen i had an icon saying "The connection to the server had been lost", and after the game crashed... for 3 hours i tried to log in but it was still the same, ive been playing for a week without problem, i didnt change anything in my pc too, i really need your help since i wasn't even able to try another toon, fearing the lesser tome would pass to him/her , thank you for creating such an awesome game!

The servers were down for a hotfix:

It appears as though the servers are patched and back up now.
