Can't log in

I can't log into the game today.

When I load up, the launcher goes fine, I enter my account and password and pick a server, then the game switches to full screen and it crashes back to desktop with an error message that says "Connection failed: There was an error with this connection."

It was working fine on Tuesday, and I didn't attempt to log in yesterday. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it a patch problem?


When attempting to re-install the game, after downloading the DDOdownloader and attempting to launch it I get an error that says "No internet connectivity detected. Please reconnect and try again"

I don't think the problem is on my end, because I'm obviously able to connect to the forums and any other website I want.

Neither my playing partner in Germany nor I (based in the United Kingdom) can get past the connect level of the launcher. Continuous retries and a reboot of my machine had not effect.

I logged in fine last night at 22:00 UK time.

It looks like your problem may have started a little earlier but right now the servers are down for a hotfix.

Disregard this thread, apprently my firewall/anti-virus decided to just fall apart and start blocking everything, I couldn't pinpoint it until it started blocking firefox too. For the record, Norton sucks. See you in game.
