    Unhappy

Well I can't say about general questing... after reading some of the horror stories here I've sworn off general questing till this is fixed. Luckily, sortof, this did not affect Cove to any great degree so I can at least grind that till the 7th or I get bored whichever comes first. Really glad I finished flagging for shroud yesterday 'cause I can't imagine doing some of those quests today with the issues described here. I don't know what else to say, this isn't a convenience issue that's been messed up (Bound bag issue) or something that borked just a portion of the content (epic scrolls dropping)... this is an issue that messes up any quest with alot of casters, beholders, mobs not locked behind barriers or doors. That covers alot of content. *shakes head*

It is becoming increasingly frustrating to hear that, check the lam dev tracker, and verify that yes, once again, we were given zero notice that there was an additional update.

I've no particular issue with re-testing something once it's been altered, but I simply don't have the time to recheck something daily on the off chance something got fixed or broken and communication once again broke down. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I agree. What does Tolero's post truely mean? Was the "latest" update on Lam previewed, tested, loaded, checked, flipped or flopped by anyone....anyone?

    Just curious

Good thing they fixed the doors being unopenable by being blocked.

Now they are unopenable by being interrupted lol

    Yes.

Player benefit, close. The rest of the quests are worse for players, hence still open.
I avoid Stealthy Repossession like the plague on a good day. But I will try Butchers Path.

Did reaver's fate a short while ago, one of the party members got stuck in the wall, you could just barely see the tip of hit crossbow poking out of it. So it's not just monsters that can have all the fun.

Our caster got tripped into the wall in Dream Conspiracy, he could runaround behind the wall but could not get out of the wall. had to /stuck to get himself out.

I don't know what they thought they were fixing but definitely a QA fail at the testing stage.

    Sane Asylum is almost unplayable.
Red dungeon alert getting out of the drop down room.
Mindflayers spamming dancing balls and stuns through the wall while eyeballs pewpew you to death.
In a quest where there are respanws and inacessable rooms while flipping realities.
Even looting the chest at the end was discoball manium and the quest was over, could barely loot thechest.. had to ddoor to recall out..

The maze part of VoN2 on epic is close to unplayable, it's a cometfall fest from the casters through the walls.

I wonder who decides when the patch is good to go. I am thinking it is probably marketing/management and not programmers/tech people.

The worst one was, as expected, Maze of Madness.

Lots of casting through walls, lots of alert from things that see you but you won't reach for half the quest. Also some oddities like Minotaurs just popping up out of nowhere (falling from above?).

Foundation of Discord had a lot of through-the-walls casting, but no serious aggro issues. It was annoying to get Soundbursted from mobs you haven't even seen or opened the doors to.

All I can say is I'm glad Gianthold is on the easier side, and we were not trying to do say Lordsmarch2 or In the Flesh tonight.
I did Lordsmarch2 on my arty. It was a breeze- did not even notice the wall bug- and started the GH walkups. I agree, no real problems.

    This.

This is why so many people eventually stop bothering with Lam. Why go out of your way to help test when communication failures and other fails like this occur? You have player willing to help and you sour them.

And I say "obviously" because this is not the first or second or even tenth major bug that has been introduced after the last build that we see on Lamannia.

Most of the time, you'll still put the release out on the live servers with any final bugs that are in it, but if there is something truly game breaking, you can pull the plug on the release instead of infecting all of the live servers with new and interesting "features" like beholders that kill you before you step into their room.
The final build was on Lamannia and no one noticed. No excuse, but it was there. I spun it back up this afternoon just to check my own sanity...which I'm slowly losing.

LOL. Yeah I did burn through all 50 charges of my pale lavender in the last medusa fight before the ending in siegebreaker, and the mobs under the pentagram were getting in on the action.

Lammania is a preview server, not a testing server.

According to Tolero this 'tickle' was done over the weekend. Who plays the 'preview' server on weekends?

LOL I feel bad for you guys sometimes. I know you guys get asked over and over... but any idea what could have caused something like this so different from pre update? I know nothing about coding and computers but I just love playing the game... so something just blows my mind that an update with the changes I read I don't see how anything could have to do with walls and doors and such.

Hope it gets fixed asap though... don't lose your sanity. We need you to complain to when something else goes wrong again.

    Hang in there.

Just remember - people are steamed because Turbine broke THEIR game. People typically don't get mad if something they don't care about gets busted...

Just get them to put the wheel back on our wagon and everything will be ok...

This is true, be worried when no-one notices or cares.

It's interesting, if you hadn't broken bags would you have released 13.2 and broke the laws of physics?
