its not really a solution its an option. has uses outside of tanking.

While I did build mine different, self buffing to 950hp and critting for 400 main hand obviously isn't good.

This is interesting. How much damage do you deal with each shield bash?

Kensei should generate less threat than a Stal, and you also don't have +30% hate listed in your gear set-up. Quite curious on the threat gen details.

So what do you do to generate threat and avoid mournlands? You don't have improved shield bash feat listed, isn't that needed to avoid mournlands while bashing?

I haven't tanked elob myself yet, but I'm currently building a tank that would combine as much dps as possible and be able to tank elob as well. Any hints on how to deal with mournlands reliably would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need shield bashing either.. You do not really have to do much of anything as a tank to be honest..Intimidate needs to get nerfed and soon I think..

This the trick where you have all the DPS except one take off their threat gear and then have the designated aggro-magnet do all the hitting so the intimer can steal it back?

Naw you just have good hate gear as tank and take 2-3 swings then sit behind your shield and then when aggro swaps intimidate back. Just keep rinsing and repeating. My pally's hp was between 880 and 700ish hp the entire time the other night and the vast majority of the time was between 880 and 800. Completion time of between 30-35 minute with 0 resources used with not a real high dps group had some rogues and a couple of solid two handed melee and what have you. All this shield blocking jibber jabber - shrug it is not rocket science..

Between 40 and 50 base damage per bash, using a Holy Burst ada Greater Construct Bane tower shield.

Stacking 10%, 15%, 20% + Dos 1 Stance threat gen in addition to 13 minutes of divine righteousness that I space out during the raid.

I've honestly never had problems keeping aggro, generally lob turns when my intim has been off timer for 4-5 seconds.. so I haven't really considered incorporating more threat gen.

A mistake while copy pasting the build from my desktop, it should be listed now.

I simply keep bashing with a dr breaker shield lol, it works great. I rarely if ever get mournlands and have 0 problems with aggro.

As far as DPS is concerned I main hand crit well over 400 on a div sac, 230 - 280 without div sac.. not terrible for a lob tank.

In Orien if you ask people to do this they will hit you on the face with a 0% hamp, +35% hate fist. x_x
