    Default issue gearing

    here is my brother's bard.
i have plenty of ingredients to make and complete him a 2nd greensteel item which i would like to be a +45 hp one.
only eqeupment spots i can think of are beld, bracers, or boots.

    boots:
yes cannith boots of propulsion might fit in here, this guy is a perma haster.

    bracers:
bracers of wind L16 might be nice.

    beld:
myddo is uhm, not accurate. normally has a +6 con and greater false life belt eqeuped out of tod.
to replace this one where else to put in +6 con and GFL.

where would you put it in, item is for my bro.

Bracers, AC is not relevant for most bards.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane

To be clear, he does have the macguffin for cleansing one of his Greensteel pieces, right? Otherwise, wearing two pieces of (non-weapon) Greensteel gear at once will cause ongoing damage.

yes, he got a gs cleansing on that character.
about the ac: last week he hitted a 71±in tod, enough to not get hit by most trash.

we once rolled him up as a haggle bard but capping him in CC last year, grinding out mabar and a number of epic quests. he has become pretty good at other stuff aswell with his complete list of epic gear.

we want to get him ready for von6. and epic chrono, his hp wont suffice in there.

any other voter for the pieces?

I 2nd the bracers. While he might be able to achieve decent AC, AC isn't often needed and can just be swapped in when it is. If you want to get him a PLIS for ToD, Boots might be the better choice.

If you're going for hit points, note your options for item-based toughness. Thaarak Bracelet is easy to obtain, and it looks like Minos Legens and Epic Belt of the Moron-- excuse me, Mroranon-- are not options (even if you were thinking of going for the belt, it requires actual work to obtain, and you'd still have to find another GFL and +Con solution). For this reason, I'll dissent: The easiest way to get everything you want is to keep your helm and belt, add Thaarak Bracelet, and craft new boots. Swap to feather fall only as needed.

If he upgrades his armor to tier 3 he can get a blue slot and throw on toughness...

his items are t3, not sure why myddo is showing it as t1. good idea about the toughness item.

hmm still need to add heavy fort somewhere.
    maybe this?

feather fall is a bard spell right? no need to put that in anywhere.

made up my mind, Bracers it is.

+45hp boots would be better suited for a full gear setup ac wise(bracers of wind). this however would conflict with Boa in a tod.

    thanks yall for your replies.

Not sure but is the bard a spellsinger? With it being 20 id guess it would be. U'd prolly went to have ur enchantment up with a +2. Not sure cause myddo sucks but if it's in there some where ok, otherwise i'd prolly wanna cover all my bases with greater or even +3 for dc.

For my casters I usually use the bracer slot with a large slot then craft the greaters into it. Now if he was a pure warchanter for some reason that's different. Stack hp every which way. Slot it, con it, toughness it in feat and enchantment.

Pretty easy to do all that at 20 though with epic gear though.

I have a 20 warchanter twf who is at the stage of getting ready for epics. so i'm collecting the easier cove/challenge epics and ml18 loot sets.

I'm rolling all 3 upgraded cannith sets. They're fairly easy to get after 2-3 runs on elite of the flagging quests. The set bonuses are pretty dynamic and fun to use based on how active you are in combat.

I'm using the epic rock boots. 2 guards and immune to slips. I dont use the rocket boots because I can cast haste and ff and have enough jump.

I'm also using the epic rapier of air and epic smallblade. smallblade doublestrike stacks with doublestrike song, so DPS is quite nice. Both rapier and smallblade have 15-20 crit zone range with IC:P.

Trinket I'm using the greater stalwart for the 10hp nice and stoneskin guard procs like crazy. Working on getting the Blasting Chime here.

Armor I'm using the fleshshaper's brig upgraded with melodic guard.
