    Default SSD and DDO

Purchased a SSD corsair force 3 series, did fresh install of boot windows 7 64 to SSD. Installed DDO to it, gives me faster load times and makes me wonder why i didnt do it before but, having problem. There seems to be some very slight lag glitch going on when enemies move. Now I am not sure if it is the SSD install doing this (ive been led to beleive it would be much smoother) or if it is Crystal Cove. Just installed it and CC is now running. Trying to figure out if everyone else is having these small lag glitch moments or if its my SSD install and I need to put DDO on a regular HDD.

There's no good reason for any performance related issues caused by running DDO off an SSD. Many have done this already.

Crystal Cove might be causing you some slight lag.

Do you have nVidia graphics? If so, go into the nVidia control panel and look for a setting for maximum pre-rendered frames. Increase that to 5 or 6, and see if it smooths things out a bit. (If you have an ATi/AMD card, it might have a similar setting.)

Okay, so turns out what the problem was, ddo options material and animation smoothness got turned to medium somehow , so fixing it was just simple as upping it. Copy pasting old pref files just doesn't work like it used to, oh and on a side note, found out my sata cord was for 3 gb , fixed it and out 6 gb on. Hmmmm, they rea
