Wonderful news!

This was my first run at Lamannia. I have a slower net connection, so it took me eons to download the Lam client and patch it, but made it in.

Character transfer worked flawlessly. Managed to run I think every day but 3, filed 4 bug reports, tried to shoot for at least one quest about every other day, even once the Cove started on Live, hit 3 of the Dev events, typed with the devs... enjoyed it, but have to say, it felt like work sometimes and the mass-pile-on free-for-alls I participated in didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense to me other than to see how the server would handle overloading the combat calcs.

Still, hope another tester was beneficial and the bug reports amounted to something, though I see the clipping problem unfortunately ended up making it to live anyhow as well as the "distant enemy activation issue" I described.

Had high hopes with the "good odds" for points every day, so I'm watching vigilantly for the email. Granted, I've had intermittent emails from Turbine when I make DDO Store purchases (sends me an email most times), so could the notification about the points codes be verified in account email or if I call? Not sure how to see whether or not I did get them if the email was lost to the ether. Are these still going out Monday and/or next week in general?

There was no guarantee of points. Just that there was a high chance of winning. Personally I would have appreciated a sorry you are not a winner email just so I know that it did not get lost. In-game mail would have been better and more reliable.
