Finally returning to the game after about a year. Just looking to see what the best gear for barbs is these days. Level 20 pure barb half orc with THF. What is the best two hander out there with all of this crafting and epic weps now?

Still eSoS 98% of the time...for the other 2%, pos3 maul. (Assuming your eSoS breaks relevant DR...otherwise, cannith-crafted boss beater.)

Edit: Terror is pretty good for trash destruction in easier epics and lower...as well as eDA due to the tendency for casters to use mind fog + dancing sphere (basically makes terror's PKs only have to bypass fort).

Terror = universal living epic mob killer. Its inherent PK got a DC boost from what I read here on the forums. It is very useful now. But I think a Barb does not need a Terror.

Challenges provide several situational weaponry, the epic Elemental Greataxe though seems the best to me. On mobs with no fire immunity it is close to epic Antique Greataxe if not better due to its dot effect.

But still, the epic Antique Greataxe seems to be the overall weapon of choice. Or eSoS. For undead there are new weapons in challenges as well. The epic Mournland Maul is as effective as 3x pos and maybe easier to grind.

Triple Pos Maul (Holy/Good Burst/30% Healing Amp) is nice...
