questions from a Lama noob

Hey all,

A couple unrelated questions from a first time lamaland visitor:

1. Does premium normally carry over?
I noticed that most of what I have bought carries over to Lamania, but I still have just the two character slots. Wondering if this was WAI.

2. Is there a way to rapidly level up that doesn't involve meeting a dev or character copy?
My playtimes tend not to be when the devs are on, so I have little chance of running into them (missing all the real fun stuff). And I can't do character copy, because I don't have 'beta access' (side question: how does one get beta access?).
Plus, since I only play 'hardcore' permadeath, my toons are nowhere near cap. It'd be fun to try out some quests I will likely not see for some time otherwise. Is there an alternate way to get a higher level toon (preferably custom built, as I like to play odd builds)?

I'm not sure about that one, I think everything is separate. I'm a VIP so I don't care much, especially on Lamannia.
I think everybody has access to all the content like a VIP.

As for buying things in DDO Store, the store is definitely separate, you can earn your daily dose of Turbine Points
by talking to Sir Poincelot in the Harbour ( somewhere on a ledge under the bridge ).

Nope, except when they activate the +1000% XP Bonus.

As for #1 yes it seems to be WAI Had it happen on my F2P account. Went ViP for a month just before the 6th B-Day cakes came out to help out on Live with Guild renown Pots and such. Dropped ViP now on Lammy I have 4 toon spots for that account. Every thing you have paid for on Live will carry over..Any Content you do not own on Live you have to Buy on Lammy.. But it does not Carry back to Live..Ya that beta access is some thing you need to send a ticket in on Several people I know have had the same nonsense...

As for getting leveled Fast only way is Dev events.. But with the free 2k points every 24 hours Doesn't take long to gather up points.. These can be used for the 30% xp potions...My F2P account owns all Content and still have 34k points My Main I have just over 100k points left after shelling out 45k For our Guild ship and all I put on it.. Had very little Plat at the time..

When I went on Lam for the first time my drow monk showed up with a 'buy now' button but after I logged off and back on I could play her fine. I was also fine playing my warforged artificer and I didn't notice any red chalices above quest givers, so I would guess either your prem carries over, you are given everything, or something similar.
