Small ing bag got converted to BTC

I've heard of this issue from guildies. Should have been paying closer attention.

How can I get it fixed? It was either unbound (I'm pretty sure I purchased it in the AH) or BTA - I use it to swap GS ing between my toons so either BTA or unbound didn't make a differnce. It auto-gathered an essence I think.

Good news - it's on a toon I don't plan to TR anymore and has tons of shards to make gs items.
Bad news - it'd be nice to transfer gs ings thru the bag rather than thru the bank.

For this issue, do I use in-game, open a tech report or what? Will it be fixed automagically for me via U14 perhaps?

the issue might get fixed in update 13 patch 2, whenever that shows up. we don't know if it will even be in there, let alone whether it will revert broken bags.

that said, your particular problem can be easily fixed with the application of between 6 and 8 thousand plat on most characters. just put your current bag in your regular bank, and buy a new one which you can transfer through your shared bank again. small bags (that is, the 30-slot ones) are available from vendors with a base price of 7500 plat (if you haven't done the carnival, house P will charge you more than base value. if you haven't done the delera chain, house J will charge you more. those are the two areas that sell the bags). keep one bag for that character's use, and use the other for transferring stuff, basically.

assuming your bag is actually one of the 80 slot ones, that gets a bit harder to resolve, since those are found rarely, earned with favor, or bought from the AH.

I have enuf fav to cover it in both houses. I didn't realize they could be purchased! Gotta look into it.

ok, just make sure you store your current one in the bank before you try to buy a new one. they're exclusive, so you can only have one in your inventory at a time, but you can have as many as you would like in the bank.

Ye it's been a while since I revisited this issue. It's fixed. The small (just enuf space to hold shroud ing) bag now can be moved from toon to toon again.

Don't know when it got fixed. I just held my breath and waited.
