Quick question - Shintao ToD set and DT threat rune stacking

According to DDO Wiki Kyosho's set gives an undocumented +15% threat bonus.

Anyone know if this stacks with the Tempest Rune of Threat's +15%?

I would say no - like percentages don't stack. However...

Does anyone know for sure if this follows the general rule? Is the wiki correct (I don't have the ring yet).

Im pretty sure the extra threat is applied through the shintao monk prestige, so if you have the set and the shintao line, you will see the extra threat in the buff bar.

If I get the shintao ring instead of orimi's ring I'll have the set. I have both necklaces. Looking to get it on my 20th ToD (the next one).

I also have shintao III.

If it stacks, I'll have:
70% earth
10% DT
15% DT
20% DT
15% Shintao set
------
+130% threat

Don't know if I'll ever make a true hate tank, but I'm trying.

That's probably plenty of hate for tanking.

There is a huge difference between the amount of hate needed by a S&B tank and a monk (or other TWF tank) simply because your DPS is going to be so much higher.

For example, assuming you have similar gear, and thus each strike does the same damage (due to weapon options this is a huge assumption, but simplifies things) your hate isn't comparable to a S&B tank with +130% threat.... you hit about twice as often (80% more due to GTWF, but also start with ~10% extra unarmed attack speed). So you're comparable to a S&B tank with +360% threat.... should be plenty.

Now... survival becomes your concern.... more to tanking than maintaining aggro.
