Forum area for every class

I have a suggestion that would make the forums much more useful for both new and returning players. The Class section is currently divided into Specialists, Spellcasters, Melee. Although useful these are not strictly accurate (Melee favored soul / healing bard etc) and I think everyone must agree that it would be infinitely better if each class had it's own forum area. The search facility and the tagging facility are not effective enough - say you are a new player thinking of starting a bard - you just go to the bard forum and there is ALL the current discussion regarding Bards - so much more useful than having it diluted with ranger etc.

I would love it if you would consider making this necessary change, to increase the utility of the forums. To be frank it amazes me that it has not always been like that. But it's never too late to fix a stupid mistake. And with new classes coming in, the sooner the better, I say.

This. It was a lot better before. They made it a pain in the butt to find anything.

I also wish they would bring back that improved front page layout because the default one stinks.

I want the per class method back. That drop down option held within the 3 types is just annoying.

That said, I agree, totally. The old way of having class based forums was much better.

Unfortunately, you can merge forums with a few clicks of a mouse. Separating them all back out has to be done on a thread-by-thread basis.

I don't expect they will invest the resources to reorganize the forum for more detailed topics.

This new subptype ssucks.
Classes are just bricks to build characters, not roles.
For example, I don't know where should I post about bard/figther- he is bard mostly after all, but he is melee not specialist.
