    Default 8 Monk / 12 Fighter Halfling

I'm trying to design this build to be Kansai II and Shintao Monk I. I've been trying for a hour to get everything together but I'm messing up somewhere with this build. I know it is possiable, but I think I'm just lacking a brain today.

    Help me please!!!

It would help if you would explain your reasoning for picking Halfling (instead of, say, Helf or Human), and your reasoing for choosing Shintao on a 8Monk build (instead of Ninjs Spy).

it's going to be a shuriken build? though even then i guess drow is better.

as for light, it could be that he values 1min blurs, +2 to hit, and 25% off sp more than shadowfade + 1d6

Perhaps - I don't see the benefit from 25% off sp on a build without a blue bar. If the intent is to be more helpful to the party, I'm guessing the party would rather he takes more DPS instead.

For a halfling, I'd think that Guile + 1 level of rogue + Ninja spy would be more appropriate than Shintao.

More DPS and UMD for self-healing and blur wands.

    I just leveled up a 8 shintao/12 kensai halfling.

    Reason:
I just wanted to race up to 20 get PL and TR again, soloing/zerg whenever I could.
I wanted highest AC I could get (not good for epic or even elite but pretty unhittable often)
    Wanted some self-healing.
(with not getting hit a lot you can "torc" up your HP with vamp stone wraps and light moves fairly quickly (well cheaply at least)).
If I didn't have lots of good wraps and PL:Monk to increase unarmed damage I would have gone with a dark side SS wielder.
I figured Ninja would only give SS which I wouldn't use.
No TOD unless lv 9 monk.
Even if I went 11/9 I'd lose kensai II and mobs would always save against me so it would be a TOD lite.
I went halfling for better saves/AC/sneak.

Anyway, very fast leveling, a little struggle post vale but i got the Fighter PL so it worked.

    Edit - nvm. I recall now I went 14/6.

I'm LRing my toon right now till I'm ready for a proper TR. I've already picked halfling as a race so I'm stuck with it. I can see the ability of going dark monk and it's definitely doable. I just still don't know how yet.

I don't know if I should run with all AC or DPS...

I also carry the ToD Shintao set and would like to use if effectively.
