I wonder if there are actually 2 departments within Turbine, and both cannot connect to one another - maning that I fear tht the "Points Department" isn't able to fulfill it ... But that's merely pure speculation from my side.
Maybe they will give it after the patch comes to live.
Been to every event Have not seen any points nor have I heard any one telling they got any. I am thinking maybe it will be at the end of the testing before any one gets them..But sure would be nice if Maj. Could shed some light on the subject..

Yet to see any and still unclear how they are being rewarded. Saw a post at one point saying they may mail a point code or they may just straight out reward them to you. I never saw a post actually confirming how the points are going to be distributed, and when we should expect to see them.
A bit more communication on this front would be helpful.
Thanks for the response, I was wondering too.
Thanks for the update!
And whom to call...
thanks that makes sense to me.
Gah - I didn't realise. When I didn't get anything from the first few runs I assumed that it meant that the odds of getting anything were low and you really didn't need any more helpers...
I attend every event in the hopes I can get lucky and get some of the extra points. The events have gotten stale for me.. Wait in Line for over a hour. Or have to run across a load of Tiles that my hands give me issues being able to do...

Jumping on tiles is relatively easy, imho (but I must warn you that I'm trained through many jump & run gamers in the 90s ) if you just press ONCE both on the forwards movement key and on th jump key AT THE SAME TIME.
This results in a slow jump. Which is normally sufficient. Also, buying a "jump" potion on the market place really helps. Plus items that grant jump bonuses.
Any feather fall object (no spell, but permanent instead) kind of makes the jump "slower". It slows down the falling when fter the actual jump, which gives you a few seconds more time to better coordinate your jump-fall.
You can train this technique easily on the market place. There are more than enough easily accesible buildings there, imho.
The tiles are a bit difficult, though, I must admit. The best technique that helps here i imho look almot vertically onto your character.
More info would have indeed been helpful. Since I didn't see any point coming my way, I also assumed the chance to win was probably not that high, so I gave up...
Not to put too fine point on it, can someone explain these "points" to me?
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"
