    Default Idea For monks

    Make the effects of some wizard items work with the monk special attacks for example, Greater Magnetism 2 would effect the second tier storm strike with a 40% increase in electric damage. Same for combustion and so on.

    I think it would give some more versatility to monks. I do not think it will make them over powered but it would be interesting to see some of them specialize in certain attacks. Plus then the finishing moves would also be more effective. Triple lightning for worthwhile damage.

    I also believe it should be specific not based on potency strckly the elements.

    What does the community think.

    The finishing moves are already affected (3xFire and 3xLight). Adding it to the other strikes would be a significant buff, which is really not needed. A Superior Nihil clicky + Touch of Death would cross into overpowered territory.

    What about just keeping the current effects of potency, efficacy and ardor items/clickies on monk strikes? They appear to be working.

    im not talking about light moves or dark moves. Simple elemental bumps 3XFire does how mauch damage again?

    the elemtal stances not the special finishers for light or dark. then again 3 x light would what throw a mass cure mod for upto 60 points of healing really not a huge boost there either. I agree for dark monks more beneficial if that was incuded but how often does triple fire hurt Harry, or Sulo, or Horoth?

    How about other high lvl bosses thinking triple fire really isnt hurting them either.

    I am not trying to maximize the monks to make them unreasonable I would just like to see there elemtal burts used more. 20 d 6 is what roughly 80 points of damage on average bump that 40% 112 points of damage roughly is not that huge.

    Not a bad idea. Perhaps something in the new Enhancement system will touch on this too.

    A revamp of the Stances and attacks wouldn't be out of the question


    the basic strikes could be 1d6 2d6 3d6 4d6 and elemental enhancements could improve that damage pretty easily.

    Finishing Moves could be a choice even. Damage option or a Buff/Curse option.

    Damage option could be Dragon Breathe (Monk level d6) which ever element Fire Ice Lightning or Acid

    Buff Option for Fire could be a Damage Shield similar to Fire Shield.

    other people can come up with elemental buff options for the other elements

    With the new Enhancement system they could be purchased separately and have different Finisher buttons
