With the advent of the new enhancement system coming soon, I think it would be cool to add in some new active special abilities to each of the prestige classes. DDO had, for the longest time, some of the better real-time combat, but recent releases have challenged DDO's claim to that title.
In order to keep DDO interesting, how about the developers consider adding in cool active abilities like the following. I've provided the Barbarian Frenzied Berserker class as an example of the pre existing system so you can get where I'm coming from.
Racial Prestige Enhancements:
Warforged Juggernaut
Active:
-Reckless Overrun: You use your body an the ultimate weapon, charging through enemies with your spike-studded warforged shell. Each enemy struck by the attack is dealt damage as though you attacked them with your Juggernaut Spikes, plus an additional amount equal to your strength modifier, plus any typed or untyped damage bonuses (but does not apply special weapon effects such as Holy). In addition, any opponent struck in this way is subject to a trip attack with a DC equal to your Trip Attack DC. The attack cannot be used while airborn. Cooldown 15 seconds.
*Note: the attack dashes you forward much like favored soul wings or monk abundant step, but only half the distance and cannot be used while airborn.
Toggle:
-Juggernaut Spikes: Your warforged shell has been modified to include concealed spikes which can, at will, be set to protrude from your body and damage enemies that collide with them. The spikes deal 1d8+1 damage to any attacker who strikes you in melee (upgrading this ability increases the base damage to 3d8+3 and 5d8+5, respectively). In addition, they strike any attacker who collides with you while moving (but only once to each enemy per second). The spikes gain an enhancement bonus to damage equal to the enhancement bonus of the docent you are wearing. Free action, no cooldown.
Drow Scorpion Wraith
Active:
-Scuplt Shadow: You shroud yourself and the area around you in shadow for 10 seconds, blinding all enemies in the area (DC = 10 + Character Level + Wis Modifier) who fail a Fortitude save. You deal additional sneak attack damage equal to xd6 while you remain in the cloud of darkness, where x is half your character level. Cooldown 30 seconds.
Toggle:
-Deadly Sting: You coat your weapons in a deadly poison (DC = 10 + Character Level + Wis Modifier), which now deal 1d10 con damage on a failed fortutide save and 1 con damage on a successful save. Enemies resistant or immune to Ability Score damage instead take extra damage equal to your character level. Free action, no cooldown.
Dwarven Defender
Active:
-Bastion of Defence: Removes any and all crowd control effects from your character and grants you a +5 Action Boost bonus to Armor Class. For the next 20 seconds, you are immune to all crowd control effects (all CC spells, plus abilities such as Suulomades' Binding Chains and Trip) and cannot be moved against your will (such as from an overrun attack by a huge enemy, e.g. Lailat or Fire Giant). In addition, you perform an Intimidate check on all nearby enemies with a DC equal to your Intimidate skill. Consumes one use of Dwarven Armor Class Boost. Cooldown 30 seconds.
Toggle:
-Defensive Stance: Functions identically to the Stalwart Defender stance.
-Improved Defensive Stance: Functions identically to the Stalwart Defender stance.
-Superior Defensive Stance: Functions identically to the Stalwart Defender stance.
Elf/Half Elf Arcane Archer
Active:
-Scatterspray: You enhance your next attack with arcane energies for 10 sp to produce a blast of magical power in an area around your target. By default you strike every enemy in a small area around your target with an attack that deals damage equal to the base damage of your bow plus the enhancement bonus of the arrows you are firing. In addition, if you have any Arcane Archer Imbue abilities activated, you deal an extra 5d6 damage of Force (Imbue Force/Force Burst), Acid (Imbue Acid), Fire (Imbue Explosive), Negative (Imbue Terror), or Untyped (Imbue Slaying) to each of these targets. This bonus damage can be Empowered and/or Maximized at no cost to the Arcane Archer if they have the Empower and/or Maximize feats. Cooldown 1 second.
Toggle:
-Imbue Force Arrows: Functions identically to current iteration.
-Imbue Acid Arrows: Functions identically to current iteration.
-Imbue Explosive Arrows: Functions identically to current iteration.
-Imbue Force Burst Arrows: Functions identically to current iteration.
-Imbue Terror Arrows: Functions identically to current iteration.
-Imbue Slaying Arrows: Functions identically to current iteration.
Class Prestige Enhancements
Frenzied Berserker
Active:
-Supreme Cleave: Expend 10 hitpoints to attack all enemies around you. Cooldown 1 second.
Toggle:
-Frenzy: You expend 10 hp to enter a frenzy, increasing your strength by 2 and adding the Vicious property to your melee weapons.
-Death Frenzy: You expend 10 hp to enter a death frenzy, increasing your strength by 4, your critical multiplier for attack rolls of 19-20 by an additional 1 when raging, and adds the Greater Vicious property to your melee weapons.
Occult Slayer
Active:
-Feedback: For the next 10 seconds, any spell damage that would be dealt to you is instead reflected back upon your attacker as untyped damage. Cooldown 60 seconds.

Ravager
Active:
-Visage of Terror: Activate this ability to attempt to instantly slay an enemy on a failed Fortitude save (DC = 10 + Character Level + Con Modifier). Does not work on enemies immune to fear effects, including unintelligent monsters. Cooldown 60 seconds.

-Frightening Aura of Fear: Improves the Ravagers fear aura to -3.
-Deathly Aura of Fear: Improves the Ravagers fear aura to -4.
Stalwart Defender
Active:
-Stunning Bash: You have learned to use your shield as a ferocious bashing weapon that stuns opponents in front of you. Deals damage equal to a shield bash and stuns the opponent on a concentration check DC = 10 + Strength Modifier + other modifiers. 15 second cooldown. (Basically identical to the Stunning Blow feat, just a very small AoE centered in front of you, and on a different cooldown timer).
Toggle:
-Defensive Stance: Functions identically to the Stalwart Defender stance.
-Improved Defensive Stance: Functions identically to the Stalwart Defender stance.
-Superior Defensive Stance: Functions identically to the Stalwart Defender stance.
Kensei
Active:
-Shred Armor: Focusing your concentration into an intense burst of power, you shred your opponents armor with a series of fast strikes (5 main hand attacks in 1 second with a chance to proc glancing blows or offhand strikes), and also applying an Improved Sunder effect to your target, with DC = 14 + Str Mod + other modifiers, lowering their AC by 5 and fortification by 10% and also applying a -3 fortitude save penalty (regardless of saves) that stacks up to 5 times on the same target.
Purple Dragon Knight
Active:
-Oath of Wrath: You swear an oath to defeat an opponent, granting you a +2 bonus to attack, damage, saves, and skills vs. that opponent as well as decreasing their fortification against your attacks by 15%. Lasts 60 seconds, cooldown 60 seconds.
-Rallying Cry: Grants all nearby allies a +1 bonus to attack, damage, saves, and skills, and a +20% bonus to movement speed. Lasts 20 seconds. Cooldown 60 seconds.
Toggle:
-Heroic Shield: You may grant one nearby ally a +4 bonus to Armor Class
-Final Stand: Toggle this ability to protect all nearby allies at the expense of your own vitality. Any damage to nearby allies that would bring them to 0 hp or lower is instead dealt to you. Activating this ability drains 1 hp per second.
