Default 3rd life wiz about to tr to?

Have been away for awhile (~6months) and thinking of TR my 3rd life wiz(3xWiz) to another class, what class would benefit the most of the pastlife bonus?

Like to be able to solo stuff good.

CLR (+1 Conjuration) or FvS (+1 Spell Penetration) if you want to wind up as a wizard. Any DC casting class will benefit from the +1 to the DC's, and any class that benefits from high spell penetration will benefit from the wizard past lives.

FvS for +1 SP, Cleric for +1 conj DC or Sorc for +1 Evo DC.
U can even think to build a FVS or a Bard melee if u want to try something different from pure spellcasting

Wizard! Wizards get the most out of spells with SR checks, therefore benefit the most from +6 Spell Pen. Warforged AM or fleshy PM, either works great.

But sorcs have so much more mana to spam Wail of the Banshee, Finger of Death, and Circle of Death, and lack feats for spell penetration. :P

It's definitely true that sorcs lack feats for Spell Pen, but they also lack feats for (and get no enhancements to) the DCs we're talking about. We are still talking about an arcane, so you can obviously make it work, but I think the wizard path just makes more sense.

    Echoing this.

Rather, Sorx3, FvSx3 (or less, IMO by this time your spell pen would be overkill), and end up with a terminal sorc life. Put in a few cleric lives for gravy -- no needed, but very yummy gravy.

Wizard benefits the most from wizard past lives, IMO.

Do sorc first and see how you like it. If you end there then it will be good, if you go from there to more sorc or FvS lives then that will work well too.

+DC from Sorc PL's is gold for a FvS, less so the other way around.
