Hi everyone!

I'm pretty new to high-end trading and i'm quite confused by the use of a lot of different things (various cromatic dragon scales, large shroud ingredients, epic scrolls, plat) as currency for transactions.

So, how do all of these relate to each other on our server? As in: how much plat is the equivalent of a frds? What about large shroud ings? Whats the value in plat of the other dragon scales (blue, black, white)? All of these non-plat currencies are worth amounts of each other based on how much plat are they worth (example: if a frds is worth 600k plat and a lds 300k plat then 2 lds are worth a frds)? Or is everything made up on the fly based on the number of fluffy bunnies born in the last 5 minutes?

Usually the Currency is the following - based on my experience and trading rates ofc:

1 FRDS = 2 LDS = 4 LSS = 6 LTS = 8 LGA
FRDS (Flawless Red Dragon Scale)
LDS (Large Devil Scale)
LSS (Large Sulfurous Stone)
LTS (Large Twisted Shrapnel)
LGA (Large Glowing Arrowhead)

That said, sometimes trades may not be that linear and the DDO market changes as any market. For instance, I would say right now 1 FRDS is worth more than 2 LDS since Shroud Ingredients are easier to get nowadays. I dont use plat/gold as much for trading but I would say a FRDS is worth 700k plat and a LDS is worth 300k plat. OFC this is my take on the currencies and its always a subjective evaluation so wait to read a few more opinions so you may better decide for yourself whats the "actual" value. Value is relative to everyone, always remember that when trading. Have a read through some threads on the marketplace, and always always take the AH with a pinch of salt.

Epic Scroll value is relatively static, ranging from 1LSS/1LDS upto 1/2 FRDS for most scrolls. I don't think I've actually paid more than 300K~ value for a scroll so far, drop rates may be pathetic but you can always trade scrolls that are useless to you to someone else or sell em on the AH.

Epic Claw Set/SOS/Abishai scrolls are still holding there expensive prices, but with good reason.

Blue/White/Black scale prices are a relative ~100K to me, the base armours are very meh and grinding 25FRDS is not my idea of fun for the Epic Redscale.
