    Default Ranged Fighter Build Help

    So I was playing around on the character planner and came up with this idea. It seems like it will work. I was looking for some input before I TR.

    Prepare yourself for the monkcher suggestions

    And they will have a very good point for a full-time dedicated AA (admittedly, I don't care for monkchers but agree that they are very potent for no-hold-barred ranged only builds).

    What will you be doing outside of manyshot? You took Power Attack as your only melee feat (does nothing for ranged), but no explanation of intent.

    You Don't list your enhancements, which is a major part of the build.

    I still like elves for AA's...many will suggest Half-Elf.

    Are you thinking Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack may net you some sort of Tempest mash-in when they do the enhancement pass? My wife plays a jump-around-drive-me-crazy AA/TWF that has no problem hitting without these feats. It seems a shame to take these and not go all the way and commit to whirlwind attack.

    Shot on the Run...I highly doubt you'll need it, but i understand your motivation...dump it
    Power Critical...practically useless....dump it...

    Grab Combat Expertise and Whirlwind Attack instead, so you have some melee presence with a Power Attack and aTwo-handed Weapon (such as Terror) at least.

    We'll start there....if you still want to keep this theme.

    I play a min/max Bowbarian that I really enjoy. Off the top of my head, his stats are something like this:

    18/1/1 Barbarian, Fighter, Artificer (Half Elf)

    18/15/15/8/8/8 (Level ups into Strength)

    Max Disable Device and Search, with remaining points into Open Lock. With proper gear you'll hit any epic trap in the game easily.

    Power Attack, Rogue Dilly, Cleave, Point Blank Shot, Improved Critical: Ranged, Rapid Shot, Many Shot, Weapon Focus: Ranged, Bow Strength.

    The Artificer level really seals the deal. It gives you traps and open locks, a cute level 1 doggy, infinite casts of grease (helpful for wiping Velah groups when someone dances you) and eligibility for Arcane Archer. When Manyshot is on timer, you are still a Frenzied Berserker III and can bring the pain with your Epic SoS or Cannith Crafted weapons.

    AA + FBIII = pretty fun.

    Thanks for the help. I can see removing Power attack for Combat expertise and Shot on the run for Whirlwind attack.

    I thought about 2 levels of rogue for evasion but not sure what I want to give up for it. The fighter capstone helps me equal this build with a Ranger. I want the 10% speed increase of all attacks but I guess I could farm for an item to do the same.

    I havnt seen the Monk version of this. I would have evasion and stances. I'll have to look it up.
