Need some build help

I am currently a melee fighter but I am thinking about going to a more support based build. My past lives are Paladin/Monk/Ranger, I will probably go back to a Paladin (18) Monk (2) later, so I would like to have the passives help out and have room for one past life active. My thoughts are between Silver Flame H-Elf AA Favored Soul or H-Elf AA Bard. Both have some benefits to later builds (+20sp or an active Bard song). Any thoughts on which one would be a better first try as a support build.

I don't see how a support class PL could help your future Paladin.
You should choose a build that you want to play and forget PL unless you are willing to play a class with a really useful PL such as Monk, Barb, Paladin...
