Sound goes away... userpreferences.ini seems to be key

Friend of mine plays DDO, and every couple of days she loses sound in the game.

Every other program on her Windows Vista system has sound, just not DDO.

Deleting her UserPreferences.ini file in her DDO directory fixes the issue, but of course she has to reconfigure her game and key mapping.

Here's a way to confirm your suspicion: Make a copy of the ini file while sound is working. When sound stops working, compare the two versions. See if anything has changed. At the very least, she won't have to reconfigure all her key mappings if she copies the backup over the working version.
