can you please give me more info of how the death match works?.
i have very little experience doing pvp.
is it once u killed u stay out(like in paintball) or you come back and fight and wining is for most kills?.
also after death do u come back fully healed or like when u die and come back at 1 hp at tavern?( which mean u can be repeatedly killed at spawn spot.)

i techincally only see 3 teams, grrrrrrrrrr.

come on folks, this is fun!!! - this is completely different from the tavern brawls. this is fun and challenging!

Not fond of pvp has nothing to do with grouping with your freinds and coming up with ways to work as a unit against opponents , its the same as questing except your opponents are not npc's and are not predictable - this isn't solo v solo so get off the schnide and make a tribe!!!!

is it once u killed u stay out(like in paintball) or you come back and fight and wining is for most kills?. your placed in a deathmatch arena - if your killed you will randomly be respawned back in the filed of battle with full hp.
also after death do u come back fully healed or like when u die and come back at 1 hp at tavern?( which mean u can be repeatedly killed at spawn spot.) you do regenerate slow hp during battle

    hope that answers those queries

you are randomly placed at one of the designated spawn spots, there are at least 10 i can count, so your team can make guesses at where your going to spawn and try to gank you; nonetheless that was more adventageous last year because we used a sorted set of clickies. This year its all about what you have on year gear and get moving as fast as you can to get back in the hunt.

Hiding is pretty neglible and is actually more detrimental because you end up backing yourself into a corner that you cant get out of.

I definitely promote the idea of checking the arena out though.

Purg will pick a location - the challenges can be held anywhere and yes it will be in the Stach

Trying to log into game to confirm the 2 new teams.

There may be a possible delay in the start time on saturday for planed out between 4-10pm EST. Instead of knocking out most the rounds on saturday and leaving the final matches on sunday there is a chance we will start at 7pm - 10pm EST and knock out first 2 or 3 rounds and finish up on Sunday at 4pm.

Teams are confirmed and added to the list.

As it stands we have 8 teams all from Thelanis and this was about what I estimated we would get from Thelanis for teams so that is great and motivating news to keep hosting events for the Thelanis community but I was not expecting to have 0 show from all the other servers combined I expected about 8 more teams from various other servers. Next year w/e event I hold will not be including adjustments to include other servers to participate as we all know we clearly are the best server and anyone that is anyone worth the time and effort to host an event for and to associate with is already on Thelanis anyways. I feel ashamed to of thought that the possibility this may not have been true and allowed the other servers a chance to participate.

So here we have it eight of best teams in the world all from Thelanis ready to do battle with and against each other over the weekend.

I will have the brackets up tomorrow night,

I will design plans for 6-7-8 team tournament brake down, 6-7 are back-up plans.

If there are more than 2 no shows I will throw in the towel and call the tournament a wash and return all donations to sponsors that contributed to the prize pool.

I Will start a Congo Bowl Channel if I can remember how to do that for Saturday to coordinate the tournament and designate a place to meet up at from within the channel.

Starting at 4pm EST would be great as it is 23:00 CET (if time converter is right). However, starting at 2 in the morning won't be so exciting. So please try to take in account also Europeans when changing the times.

This is the deal for holding the tournament as scheduled or delaying it.

I have 2 teams that are highly risk of not going to make it due to unforeseen circumstances for this Saturday at the 4pm time.
This puts us pretty close of going below 6 team minimum that I’m willing to proceed with.

Now I don’t want to adjust the schedule to accommodate the teams for their personal situations that is their own personal problem not anyone else but this where we run into the problem.

If rest of us all show up at 4pm and we have one more no show then we will be under 6 and we all just wasted our time.

I had made a choice to miss a pretty big poker tournament (well big for me) I really wanted to play in that start at noon and it takes me 2.5 hours’ drive to get there and another 2.5 to get back. Plus I would plan on winning so it goes way past the 4pm time. 7pm I would of already gotten a room at the resort and just used there Wi-Fi after I have won .

So if I continue on our 4 pm path and things don’t work out for us not only will I have missed a big tournament a lot my poker buddies are going to but all the other teams that do show up miss out on competing in Congo Bowl as well. Mind you I don’t mind missing the poker tournament to host Congo Bowl but I really don’t want to miss it over something silly like no shows for Congo Bowl.

So instead of setting the other teams and myself that were going to make it at 4pm on Saturday for a possible huge disappointment and pushing it to 7pm is not that great of option for some of you. 4pm EST was chosen for a reason as it was the best accommodating time for most time zones so we will keep 4pm and we will push it up a week not for those that are not going to make it tomorrow but for those that could.

So a 1 week delay for the benefit of the ones that were planning on make tomorrows 4pm time (if that makes sense to you lol)

Now I will take inconsideration of those teams that could make tomorrow time and now unable to make the 1 week delay So if this is a problem for them we will push it to 2 weeks if need be.

I'll be back in about an hour then maybe again latter tonight to hear any feedback about this if I have time and then again tomarow morning.
I'm still more than willing to host tomorrow if that what everyone wants but I will cancel the whole thing if we have less than 6 shows up if we continue as planed with no delay no reschedule at that point. Because by then I have given all that I am willing to give sacrificed all that I’m willing to sacrifice. Or in poker terms I'm all in lol.

So again plan for 1 week delay possible 2. Same day same time.

P.S. Mise well keep registration open during the delay time, because I know few people that didn't even bother making a team because of the date was not good for them... So I'll reopen it for those that still want to get in.

This seem more of a win/win solution then the big lose/lose by going ahead with tomarows date.

PSS and no I'm not going to say what teams are having issues with tomarow.
