Faith Tenets?

Is it worth it to have the 6AP's spent in Faith Tenets? I'm looking at having a 15Pal/4Ftr/1FvS (The FvS level was so I could use the wand of cure minor wounds until I got Pally spells.) Right now I'm at 7Pal/2Ftr/1FvS and looking at redoing the AP's so I can get better ac, saves and 10 hp. What do you think?

First off, any paladin can use any pally wand as long as they meet the min. lvl requirement; so I'm afraid taking a FvS splash just for Cure wands was a waste. Though maybe there were other divine wands you wanted access to?

Second, the two main reasons to take a pally faith is for the lvl 6 ability (Sovereign Host's free heal being the best, IMHO) and/or to meet third-tier pre-req for all pally PrEs. Whether it's "worth it" before pally 18 largely depends on what you're NOT taking instead to squeeze it in.

I always find that there are other APs I'd rather have and generally only take the faith line at higher levels. So the faith lines are nice, but not awesome and you should consider the following:
-Extra Lay on Hands
-Bulwark and Resistance of Good
-Extra Smite 2 w/ exhalted smite and divine sacrifice
-Paladin and Racial Toughness
-Hunter of the Dead or Defender of Siberys Prestige, along with the prereqs (when you get to higher levels, then consider Knight of the Chalice)
-Stat increasing APs
-Improved Recovery

Out of all the faith lines, I actually prefer Undying Call the best, but you have to be a half elf (or elf) to have access to it. Maybe it's just me, but I rarely used unyielding sovereignty. Whereas Undying Call is a free raise dead or resurrection clicky (depending on the race of the person you are raising) that you can reuse every 5 minutes. In most situations I found this is all the raising I typically need. Only once in a great while will I need to pull out a raise dead scroll.

I think he's talking about the eternal wand from Catacombs. Rangers and Pallies can't use that one w/out UMD. Taking the FvS level is still a waste, though.
