Default Spell list suggestions for my savant?

Hey all, pretty new to DDO. My main guy I have been playing is a level 6 wizard. But I realized the build is pretty generic, and isn't really a good damage build, so after doing some research I decided to go with a sorcerer savant build. After reading bits and pieces here and there I decided to go with an Earth Savant. I know their dps is not tops, but it seems like they are a little more self sufficient, and good for soloing. My plan is to go 7/5/5 acid, 7/0/0 ice, 7/0/0 fire, since I read that having 3 elements as a savant is very handy. My main question is what would be the opitmal spell list for my build? And my second question is, does my build seem sound? I did tons of research and redos to get the build below, I know its not perfect, but it seems to achieve what I want, strong solo caster with good dps. I used a ddo wiki build as a general guidline, I dropped a racial toughness enhance and swapped in two spell pene enhancements. I felt sacrificing like 10 hps for 2 spell pene enhances was a good swap. Anyways, build is:

Most people agree it's worth it to get at least 1 point in crit chance and crit damage, rather than putting everything into damage.

Yeah I like that idea, I actually wanted to do that but was having trouble squeezing it in. One thing I could do is drop the improved empowering II, or improved maximizing II, and that would give me 4 more AP to spend on the 1st level of crit enhancments for both fire and ice. I actually didn't plan to purchase improved empowering II anyways....the online character generator forced me to choose it in order to choose earth savant III. The online character generator seems to think that you are required to have both improved empowering II and improved maximizing II, in order to choose earth savant III. According to the DDO wiki, you only need ONE or the other, but not both. Can anyone confirm that the DDO wiki is correct? Before I get to level 18 and discover you infact need both ;o)

You definitely don't need both Improved Empower II and Improved Maximizing II. But you do need to have spent a certain number of APs (not sure how may offhand). Most likely, adding Improved Empower II brought you up over that AP threshold. Putting that same investment into the crit lines instead should still let you take Earth Savant III (and will be much better).

You're spreading yourself a bit too thin.

While leveling up, go fire savant with secondary on acid. No need for a third focus. Once you reach Vale, swap out to acid primary with ice secondary. No need for a third focus. Once you reach cap, try to determine for yourself if you really need a heavy third focus (usually just putting 1 tier each on the force lines is enough to cover everything, then you can use your AP for stuff like spell pen/scroll mastery/racial toughness).

This progression will allow you to perform efficiently at all levels.

    Cheers.

Ah ok, I didn't realize it was so easy to swap enhancements around. Thanks for the advice. I was thinking fire was probably better in lower levels, but didn't realize I could swap around later with ease.
