I was in Meridia early in the Morning, just went there for the free 1000 xp, decided to do some slayers, and when I looked at the log this is what I found.

32 if my eyes serves me right. Could been done better, but dang rares are well, rare.

I've never made more than 40k on my first run out there. Maybe if you drink a nice xp pot.... Dunno.

Both 'always up' rares are gnolls.

The second is a gnoll up top of the southern perch.

Once I found 6 rares in a first run of tangleroot gorge, plus all explorers and the ~200 kill mark. Didn't took a screenshot, but it was running with a dedicated group, so the others may remember this as well.

I just love to get all explorer points because it is fun. Slaying and rare hunt are a game I don't like that much (Maybe that's why I'm not that much irate when I get a petal or husk as a reward in vale quests).

Picked up 6 taps, two Sigil bits and a Tome page as well.
