Install Files folder

Hi folks,

I have a 4.45 GB folder titled "DDO Standard Res Install Files".

Are these just install files? Can I delete this folder?

Where is this folder located? I'm afraid to give advice without knowing where on your system these files are located.

If you have plenty of room on your hard drive, and if these are the full installation files, they might be worth keeping if you wish to do a reinstall at a later time.

If it has six to eight files in it most with ".bin" extensions, you can delete it. I'd recommend copying the files to a memory stick or other drive so that when the inevitable day comes you find a re-install necessary, you won't spend another two to four hours downloading it again.

Ok, thanks. It's full of .bin files and on my desktop. So it was the initial download.

Inevitable reinstall? Lol, great. I guess I'll save it then, just move it.
