Pure Paladin tr warforged?

I do have plenty of gear for leveling. I am lacking any ToD gear or chrono epic gear though (other than crystal cove stuff). I also would love to farm Litany of the Dead for the gear there as I have never done so. Seems to me, while I would be ill suited for newer high level content, that Paladin dps would be pretty decent in those above quests yeah? I am looking at this like a stepping stone.

Right now I have crystal cove epic gear and inspired quarter stuff for my paladin at high levels. Terror, pale blue ioun stone, fleshshaper docent, quorforged docent, minos, crystal cove epic tier 3 upgraded stuff (gloves, shield and trinkets), and other random gear to fill gaps for the essentials like greater false life, fort and +stats. This coming Pali life I will add green steel and holy swords to that mix.

I am assuming the next step would be for me to use that gear above to start farming ToD (once I get the boots), Echrono and Litany/Abbot items to boost my melee potency before tackling a barb/kensai/gear intensive melee build in a later life. Is this the wrong way to look at it? This will be a toon I continue to tr, so I won't be staying at 20 paladin, although I want to enjoy the journey and spend a little time at cap.

I have run 2 pallies to 20.

One a champion the other a legend.

What I liked:

KoTC doing lots of damage to evil outsiders (but with the current DoS I would prefer to go DoS)

What I find lacking:

Turn undead: when it matter it's useless (also on a cleric)

- It's actually useful as divine might (and in clerics as bursts)

Average DPS:

- Specially for the people who don't know when to put their shield aside when not tanking.

Paladin WF is not that bad if you have the heal amp equipment... just get repair pots for the low levels and heal amp / healer's friend / etc for the high levels. There are actually some awesome WF pallies.

What I would do: leave the cleric at 20 and start a new toon... that PL is the worst ever... (unless you are a wiz with web and way too much time to grind other more relevant PL feats)

Also if you decide to go with that build, don't drop improve critical for a min2 ... use the pally sword for DR, Get a li2 instead of the min2. Then get specific DR crafted weapons. If you are on khyber look for my toons I can help you craft them.
