    Default Necro focus borked?

So here i am looking at my 7th lv finger of death DC and its a 32 {for now] im a 14 lv PM with spell focus necro and GSF Necro .

So my question is shouldnt it be atlest 2 higher than my other 7th lv spells that have no focus feats or items now mind you i have the napkin.. but that would apply too necro focus also keeping my necro focus 2 ahead of the others ?

so FD has a dc of 32 and delayed blast fire ball is a 31?

here is my link too my DDO incase you think im over loooking somthing and i might be but looked at all my equipment and not seeing any thing http://my.ddo.com/character/ghallanda/xzr/

The answer to the question is actually easier than you think. It has to do with your first life.

DBF is an Evocation Spell - Your passive Sorcerer past life gives you inherent +1 DC to all Evocation spells

Thus will be 1 DC behind your necromancy focus.

Try looking towards other spells like enchantment, conjuration etc. for the +2 DC difference.

At Level 18 when you take Lich form you will gain one more DC over the other schools. At this time you will be +2 DC over Evocation and +3 over all others (without a focus item that is)
