Map bug

Happened a few times already. Most of times in Sorrowdusk, but also happened once in Suomi Gardens. Any ideas on what this may be? If I recall and enter again, the bug is still there. Have to relog to correct it. When M key is pressed, it just pops up a small square window with no graphics at all.

Does this consistently happen when your character is in specific locations in those areas?

Does it seem to appear after zoning into a new section of the area?

Does this seem to pop up after you've been logged into the game for a while, or after switching characters?

I'd be interested in seeing your DXDiag, since that might give some clues.

It seems a bit random so far. Most of the times, it does NOT happen.

Sometimes it happens after I switch toons, sometimes after I don't switch toons.

Just a min ago, I exchanged to another toon and went to the same area. As soon as I entered the area, the mini-map appeared with the same image as the one is displayed when we are on the boat (instead of the black fog with terrain), but then the game had that load crash some of us have been experiencing. I log again with the same toon, and the explorer and slayer list went OFF, as it uses to happen after the load crash (had to recall and re-enter the area again).
