Back to Khyber - looking for a home

Anyone remember Xezze or Actone? (midgit monk / human wiz)

Well, I'm back... now looking for an active guild that's up for raiding, back for the first time in ages and unsurprisingly my old guild appears to be dust in the wind....

I'm a Melbourne, Australia based player (formerly QLD), but not restricted on timeslots much and am often online throughout my day (EST USA evenings through late) as well as Aus night time... pretty flexible. Mature gamer, pen&paper 2.0 generation... sarcastic, cynical and bald... anyone got a home for me?

voice chat preferred... usual collection of vent/mumble/teamspeak... I much sooner work with people who regularly use voice

I'd recommend looking into whether the Crimson Eagles guild are recruiting, great group of pikers and gimps, and always up for sponging completions

Also many of their players are Aussie (except for their guild leader, he's Tasmanian), or play during Aus prime time.

Since when did Failgor start paying you as a CE scout??!!! Aren't you too busy getting married to be posting on the forums?

To the OP, CE isn't really recruiting at the moment, but send me a tell if you really feel like seeing how to fail raids and destroy hopes of random puggers and I may be able to hook you up. Toons in sig.

He's paying me in "i won't bring up all the stupid **** we did when we were young at your wedding speech" favors, not that there's enough time during the night for that epic rant anyway. But in all honesty, The Woman is looking after all the organizing (read fighting with her mother over how stuff gets done), i'm just along for the ride. If i didn't keep racking up 100 dollah phone bills from tethering to play DDO last 2 months while i still wait for my **** net to be connected i'd be on (and no.. i'm totally not addicted >.> ).

P.S. in any CE runs... bring VoN boots... remember.. FoM is dispellable...

Now I'm back in game I can actually check out my friends list and see a bunch of names I used to know

It's gonna take me a little while to get back into things, just tooling around on an alt to get the feel of it again...

I used to roll with Forgotten Souls... knew some people in Invicta... and also a couple of CE people.

Have added your toons to my list on the main, will keep an eye out for you.

edit: Traps are there to be jumped on... I'm a monk, don't worry I'll time it so I catch as many people as possible instead of running ahead

Look me up on Warcrye or Dhaarmika in game. I'm leveling both of them atm.

Dukkha rings some serious bells... I'm pretty sure we'd played together

when pugging I used to go on Madstone's runs a bunch heh. I will be in game soon man, will message you. Logged in on the monk last night and went O.O trying to remember the DDO interface let alone anything else LOL... so been tooling around on a lowbie cleric alt to get used to it again, it's coming back gradually but I suspect my knowledge of gear and instances is going to be very dated at first

Welcome back, and if what these gimps above have said sounds fun look for us tonight, probably running Vale or Amrath for XP on some TR's. I am sure we can make room for you if you wanna check us out (and us check you out of course). If you have an attitude and perspective that meshes, the "mad skillz" can always come later.

My mad skillz are geting to the ship buffs just after they run out or have 2 days left. Oh and piking Elite ToD in the penalty box.

Shamanic, I will also mention we are far too lazy to bother with Vent or Mumble (have in the past, but not for a while). Some of us use voice chat often, others hardly at all.

Good luck if you have already received and invite from someone.

Holy canoly, all this time and I didn't realised CE had developed mad skillz lol

If ddo ever has 'Intimacy' as a skill, I would be maxing that out! That would save us having to fight that succubus boss! mad right I know :P

If you wanna have a chance Wound you better stop maxing out the Grope/Sleaze/Lear/Oggle/DirtyOldUncle skills on all your toons.
