Odd settings

Anyone know if there is a setting for this? When I click on a topic it takes me to someplace in the middle of the thread, sometimes at the bottom but almost never at the top.. I'm pretty sure they are threads that I started reading at one time but I don't always remember what was said at first and when I click the thread it takes me to what I assume is where the website thinks I stopped reading... is there a way to turn this off? So that when I click a thread it takes me to the _first_ post in that thread even if I looked at it before?

I don't know how you are manoeuvring about this site to answer that. You description wasn't clear enough for me.

Beyond a virus or something hijacking your browser.... my only guess is that it is browser dependent and you'd have to figure that aspect out there. It would not be website dependent.

Maybe I am misunderstanding.. But if you click the name of the link, it should take you to the first post. The little arrow next to the link takes you to the newest messages the forums think you should reading.

Or did I read that wrong?

Figured it out while typing a response.. seams to be caused by clicking on "Forums" which lists forums on the left and the "Last Post" on the right.. which of course when you click on the thread it takes you to the bottom of it instead of at the start of the thread..

And oddly when you click on "new posts" on the bar right under where it says "Community" and click on the thread from there it takes you to the start of the thread.. not the actual new posts..

It's been happening to me since the forum lost its old styling which must have used the same coding that "new posts" section uses instead of "forums" section...
