To the OP - there are +3 tomes floating around. Some of them are unbound.

The max bid amount on the AH is lower than most people would want to accept for their +3 tomes, however, so it's unlikely that you'll see any +3 tomes on the AH any time soon.

I would certainly want more than 2 million plat for a +3 tome and I'd be happy to offer more than 2 million plat for a +3 tome that someone was willing to trade for plat.

It was during a festival. It was already at 2M plat (or whatever the max bid is) and was simply waiting for the three days to expire and give it to the first player who saw that and had 2M plat handy.

I'm not sure that is still your answer. Tomes have since fallen in price and may have dipped under 2M. Still, there are cheaper ways of finding a buyer than the 600k plat auction fee.

Easiest way to buy a +3 tome is make a thread here on forums with the tome you are after or try /trade in market/harbor/korthos
