    Post Size and Body Type

Why in ddo we can not choose the body type (like in lotro)? I think it would be nice add this option on the character creation, just to have more variety of characters.. And after TR, give the possibility to choose whether to be larger or smaller.
    Thanks for your attention

That issue could be controlled by not giving such extremes as options.

The skins seem to struggle a great deal to cover the body shapes they have now. I frequently see parts poking out of other parts when running, attacking, or running and attacking. I suspect shape customization would only exacerbate this problem, which is unfortunate because DDO is desperate for visual customization.

    AGREED!!!!!

By now we should have cloaks, strings for our bows....hell the bow should flex when we fire it. Shields and two-handed weapons on our backs when not in use. One-handed weapons on our side/s......the list could go on and on.

Do not forget the age of this game. I'm sure it's difficult for the developers to go back and do such graphic upgrades. Just taking a computer programming class in high school showed me how frustrating and tedious programming or coding can be.

Aside from that, I'm more concerned with content getting out than graphics.

I know it's a difficult and long work, but I hope that in future we will see a visual upgrade

Even just to have a choice of 1 additional body types per race per gender would be fantastic.

e.g. we already have "beefy" (mostly), so let's add "wiry" (a slender but tough-looking version).

    Required work (pure speculation):

    • 8 races x 2 genders = 16 additional models to build to provide 1 alternative body for each race and gender.
    • Add to this all the armour models that would need to be tweaked to fit the new sizes.
    • Add to this a reboot of helf faces (because they are embarrassingly stupid. Why can't I just stick a bearded elven head on a human body?)

    Profit.
