Turbine, could you please flag the skeletons and the death knights properly so that the game recognizes that they are undead?
It's really annoying to throw a group heal and HEAL THE MONSTERS. Particularly when it's supposed to be damaging them.

Those skeletons/knights are weird, they are healed by both positive and negative energy!
Yes have to say it makes killing them not a lot of fun...

Well, positive energy spells only heal characters in your party and monsters that are allied with you. Seeing as the skeletons and death knights are healed by your positive energy spells, we can illogically assume that the skeletons and death knights are actually on our side, perhaps plotting against the Lords of Dust and their minions. Therefore, you are doing a terrible thing by killing them.
Maybe it's because the knights are typed as Human and Undead and the system can't handle it? In addition to sirgog's examples, they are susceptible to Undead Bane. I haven't any weapons with Human Bane to see if those work as well.
