Abjuration/Conjuration?

I was considering making an WF Archmage with the primary school being Abjuration as I chase the "Dismissal" spell at the highest tier. I thought the Elemental Resists/Protection would be nice added benifits in my SP conservation.

As his secondary school... I thought Conjuration for the WEB... I also would focus on ACID as an elemental damage emphasis in my enhancements.

I know the general consensus seems to be leaning hard to Necromancy/Enchantment.... but I thought I'd consider this in that it's a tad different...and MIGHT be useful at endgame... thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Abjuration/Banishing isnt a really good end game focus due to the fact that end game "Outsiders" are often being fought on their home turf.. and thus.. Not banishable...

Abjuration is a very under powered school. To take all those enhancements for one spell that doesn't work in much content outside vale seems like a waste.
You will get the spell like abilities Shield (useless), resist (usually one and done, or covered by ship buffs), Prot from energy (1 element at a time variety), stoneskin and dismissal. In the process, you have dropped your max sp by 375 and have 1 or 2 useful spells.

On Dismissal, it won't work in shavarath as it is their home plane. Good for elementals you run across, but so is finger of death with much more utility.

If anything, consider using Illusion instead of Abjuration as this would give you a very cheap Phantasmal Killer and a couple other decent spells like Invisibility, Blur, & Displacement.

Necro or enchantment work well with web if you still wanted conjuration.
