Guild slots

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I would like to see a small modification on items with guild slots in them, maybe a small white square in a corner, that would tell you if it has a guild slot.

That would prevent people from accidentally vendoring them, or crushing for essences, and also help pick out end rewards without having to check all of them one by one.

I'm sure I missed out on a lot of medium/large guild slotted items because i'm too lazy to check them out one by one.

What do you think? Suggestions appreciated, or someone with cool paint/photoshop skills :P

The idea has merit, don't know if it could be accomplished since augments are part of the random loot gen.

Mmm. I think it shouldn't be too hard. Take anarchic weapons for example, they have a different background than others random loot gens items. Same principle applies in my suggestion

give it a solid black background!
but yes this would help extremely for 2 reasons
the one mentioned above
and
new players (before the shocking touch ect) normally kept things with a unique looking background until they knew what it meant (well at least i did when i was a newb) and this would make the augments seem more common to everyone

This is a good suggestion. I know as a crafter I'm always looking for guild slots I can build on, and I'm sure I've missed a great deal of them.

Usually I'll first search for ML1 items on the AH for stuff that people have already deconned, and then scroll through those looking for things with guild augment slots. Then I do 2-20 search which obviously take MUCH longer. Since we've gotten no indication from the devs that we'll be able to do text searches for these things any time soon (unless I missed something - a good possibility), having some visual indicator would be the next best thing.
