Arcane Archer does not give 20sp

In the description it says "Also grants +20 spell points."

This is not true! I have a pure fighter TR from sorc who is indeed an arcane archer without any spell points. When I level up it says "you gain x spell points for a total of x". Last I remember it said I had 100sp while leveling.

I might be the only person silly enough to make a character like this, but it is a bummer not being able to imbue my arrows. This would be an awesome archer, but instead falls short.

I have sent several bug reports. Any ideas what I can do besides delete my only TR?

You need some base spell points for it to add on to. If you take a level or two of a class with sp (arti would allow access to UMD) or 4 ranger (gives handy feats including bow strength at level 1, rapid shot at level 2 and you get a single spell at 4 to go with your SP. Rams Might adds to more damage your ranged and melee) and reset enhancements you can build off of that. If you are shooting for fighter capstone you are out of luck on the AA enhancements. Alternately the DWS line might be getting some love in the future but nothing concrete has been put forth as of yet.

No pure Fighter can be AA and is a known issue for a long time. Do not expect this to be fixed soon. You can add a wiz level of a artificer level and select the enhancement that will increase your mana pool and qualify you to be an AA without taking Mental Toughness.

Check for builds with arty levels for a combat oriented build that could be better. Forget about give a del to your TR after all if you want a Bow kensai you will not get capstone and 12 ftr is the important Kensai Tier anyway.

When it was announced that past life Sorc woud be a prereq for AA, I asked about this.

One of the devs responded and told me that the character would not have any SP.

...this was before it went live in the game.

It is clearly working as intended. And it has been mentioned many times on the forums.

It is prolly working as intended, just not as described. I based the build on the description which was a waste of a TR.

If I remember correctly, it should be possible to qualify as an AA and become one, but not cast your augments or summon arrows with the Pure melee+sorc PL build.

Take a minute and allow rage levels to go down. Bow Kensai is a proven build and fighter full benefits of capstone do not apply to bow anyway . You are not going to get double strike with a bow.

Not a single bow Kensai that I know complain about the performance of their toon.You will have lvl 1 wiz spells that are not game breaking but useful. A Twilight and Greater Twilight Mithral Breast Plate or going for robes and you are done.

I'm really not mad, I just don't play the character any more. The capstone gives a 10% ranged haste that stacks with other haste btw.
