    Default Fleshy Soul Survivor

My friend is interested in the Soul Survivor build, however, he doesn't like warforged at all. So I'm brainstorming on how to get the build to work on a fleshy, which I assume wouldn't be too hard, and what I've come up with was using it with an elf wielding falchions.

You get +4 damage, +2 to hit, rivaling the +4/+1 of warforged via their faith.

To take falchion proficiency, you can swap what you would of taken as extend or adamantine body for it, so you're really not losing a super useful feat.

There is no elite epic falchion weapon like eSoS that I know of, but I think you could get by with a Lit2 greensteel, especially since I feel this isn't going to be the build he sticks with.

Any thoughts or concerns with an elf soul survivor, or builds that would rival or be better than an elf version?

    Couple things:

Consider human for the extra feat.

Go Sovereign Host for the freebie heal.

The epic Xuum is a nice falchion. However, i would consider half orc.

You have to give up a feat for greatsword proficiency but you do gain 100% healing amp, higher dps, more damage boosts and a more useful capstone ability.

Elf will be a lot less survivable than WF, or even human/helf. I'd go half-elf fighter dilettante for proficiency, sovereign host for a better capstone and take a melee-focused feat in place of adamantine body. It should work well, though threat-tanking is out of the question due to the lack of the brute fighting line.

I agree with every bit of this. Sometime when I'm less lazy I intend to TR my warforged melee FvS into a half-elf with fighter dilettante. The healing amp and free capstone heal are oh-so-lovely.

Love mine; went human / Silver Flame before HElf & AOV existed -- it's even cooler now. Extra feat went to Greataxe.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane
