I wanted to try a Dwarven Cleric build that would have moderate to good AC (I know it won't hold through epics) and DR with intimidate. Not really going for a Battle Cleric, although I will most likely fight in the lower levels. The premise is to intimidate, draw agro to me and be able to heal the party through the battle by holding agro and getting mana/hp back with Torc and Concordant Opp items. Guildie of mine had a dwarf that did exactly this rather well, but this was back in Mod 2, so I'm sure the same things wouldn't apply today. Also thinking Dwarf so I can add in the Stalwart enhancement line once the new mod goes live.
Anybody have any advise for (or against) this type of build? Want to stay Dwarven. Could stay pure Cleric, or do a 1 or 2 class splash into Monk/Fighter/Rogue. Fighter would get me Tower Shield and Dwarven axes as well as Intimidate as a class skill. Rogue 2 gets me intimidate and evasion. Monk 2 gets me evasion and (possibly) wisdom to AC. Not sure if a shield breaks centered... Probably go more for a high Wisdom for spell DCs over Strength for meleeing.
Oh, most likely TRing either a Ranger (for +5 Nat AC) or Barbarian (for more HP) into this if I can figure out a build that works.
Any advice would be appreciated.
