    Default AC/DR Intimidate build question

I wanted to try a Dwarven Cleric build that would have moderate to good AC (I know it won't hold through epics) and DR with intimidate. Not really going for a Battle Cleric, although I will most likely fight in the lower levels. The premise is to intimidate, draw agro to me and be able to heal the party through the battle by holding agro and getting mana/hp back with Torc and Concordant Opp items. Guildie of mine had a dwarf that did exactly this rather well, but this was back in Mod 2, so I'm sure the same things wouldn't apply today. Also thinking Dwarf so I can add in the Stalwart enhancement line once the new mod goes live.

Anybody have any advise for (or against) this type of build? Want to stay Dwarven. Could stay pure Cleric, or do a 1 or 2 class splash into Monk/Fighter/Rogue. Fighter would get me Tower Shield and Dwarven axes as well as Intimidate as a class skill. Rogue 2 gets me intimidate and evasion. Monk 2 gets me evasion and (possibly) wisdom to AC. Not sure if a shield breaks centered... Probably go more for a high Wisdom for spell DCs over Strength for meleeing.

Oh, most likely TRing either a Ranger (for +5 Nat AC) or Barbarian (for more HP) into this if I can figure out a build that works.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Shield does(Or at least should) break centered.

I'll pitch out a whacky idea(And make no mistake I stumbled upon this by accident) that's been working well for me..

    19 cleric, 1 sorc.

Summary: Good WIs, Decent CHA(Turns, and >=1 sorc will add this to SP as well), Masters touch Will let your dwarf rock dwarven axe and tower shield. Turns are important, hence why I'd want CHA "up there" too and well.. Aura is Win.

All that said, It helps to go very heavy guard oriented when trying to cleri-tank. Or at least such has been my experience. Also note.. Shield mastery can be awesome in these sort of scenario's.

Not sure how well it'd work on a second life. Might be better with a pure FVS actually for the inherent DR feat, and shoulder cannon/smiting to grab moar aggro.

Yes, it does. Or do you mean the Shield spell?

It may finally be time to dust off this build concept - and only a year and a half later! Thanks, Turbine!

Rather than worrying about AC, might I suggest you focus on dmg mitigation from Shield Mastery + DR? That would let you dump DEX and not worry about taking up precious item slots with AC gear. Besides, with Torc + Con Opp, you want to get hit; you just also want to reduce the incoming dmg you take, too.
