Default Help wanted :Warforged Build for Solo

    Hi
I'm new player,I've start DDO a week ago.

I play warforged in paper version D&D.
So I want play warforged. I love D&D because there are warforgeds.

I made charactor, which was Wiz/Rog warforged which is said they are really good at solo.
I'll be solo player because of timezone(I'm in Japan).
Wiz/Rog is fun. I've completed Korthos Isle, but I realized my warforged is female when bartender call me miss.
    Terrible mistake. Too terrible.
I want to re-create the character. I do not like to being female warforged.

    So now,
I'm looking for build for solo warforged.
I prefer not to make Wiz/Rog build again....I'll get bored.
I like to see all options like hidden door, chest, boss. Though,I do not care trap so much.
I want to play as warforged. As long as I can do play solo, all classes are welcome but I do not want to pay extra cost for classes.

I want to have 28 pts build. And Not female.

Please tell me how to build good solo warforged character.

    DDOへようこそ。

A basic WF Wizard/Rogue is easy... 18 Wizard/ 2 Rogue. Rogue levels at 1st and 8th levels. Stats:

    Str 10
    Dex 8
    Con 18
    Int 18
    Wis 8
    Chr 6

But other than that, good solo classes for WF that can unlock and find secret doors are pretty much limited to Wizards, Sorcerers, and Artificers. But Aritificers cost money or require Cannith favor(which probably requires purchased packs.) For pure casters, Knock can unlock chests and doors and Detect Secret Doors, usually cast by a wand or item, will find your secret doors.

You could go with an Exploiter variant-- 18 Ranger/ 1 Rogue / 1 Fighter. But WF isn't the best race for the build and self healing lags behind. You'll probably need a hireling most of the time. But you'll have secret doors, locks and traps covered and decent melee damage. Stats are:
    Str 15
    Dex 14
    Con 16
    Int 14
    Wis 8
    Chr 6

Level ups in Str, Rogue at 1st level, Fighter at 9th-- Everything else Ranger.

But honestly, you're better off just rerolling your first character as a male. Sell all of your stuff, or mail unbound items you want and the gold to another character and start over. Other than that, just make sure male is selcted on the character creation screen.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

    Hi, SirMotor.

A warforged sorcerer is very good and is a blast to play. One of my toons is Nomlas on Khyber (http://my.ddo.com/character/khyber/nomlas/). He's my first arcane caster to reach level 20 and it was an easy and fun run to cap. I chose Earth Savant all the way through and he still is an Earth Savant now. YMMV.

If you`d like to solo,I would advice you considering evasion.
    Sorcerers:
New player version:Sorcerer16/paladin2/rogue or monk2.Tukaw around the forums.
Pro player version<Required gear and afew knowledge>:Sorcerer18/monk or rogue2.
    Wizards:
    New player version:Warfoge wizard archmage 20,Drow pale master 20,Maybe warfoge/drow wizard18/monk2 pale master would be considered easy as well;
Pro player version(Ditto):Wizard18/rogue2 foucosing melee when it`s out of spellpoints,Wizard18/evasion2 archmage.
Those are the best and easiest to masterize soloers. If you want to contribute even more to the party,You could try healers:Cleric and Favored Soul in around the same variants.Considerable races would be dwarfs,Half elfs<Maybe even with arcane archer>,Human,Halfling(For evasion),And maybe horcs for battle clerics.
    Best of luck
    Koaboa.

recommending tucaw build for a new player? you've got to be joking. Heavily gear dependent.

You recommended an 18/2 split for pros and 16/2/2 for newbs? You've got to be joking.

If you don't want a Wiz/Rogue but don't care about any other casters, a Sorcerer is pretty awesome. Only thing is you might have trouble filling in all the spells you want.

Another one you may enjoy is a Warchanter Bard. I've got one rolling and he's a lot of fun to play, at least for me. The Charisma penalty isn't a big deal with him as all you really care about is melee, self-healing (and a bit of group healing) and buffing.
    Vailun, Level 6 Paladin/6 Ranger/2 Monk (Gimped/Semi-retired) || Syrtho, Level 16 Pale Master || Vologrith, Level 17 Monk || Vistentelas, Level 11 Favored Soul || Veryon, Level 5 Artificer || Katakira, Level 2 Monk/1 Fighter/1 Wizard |

I do not speak of the official tukaw.I speak of a Tukaw with no melee ability.
Warchanters are great,For groups. They cant solo stuffs as well as arcanes and divines.Actually,Unless they have torc,They pretty can solo nothing.... lol; He asked for a soloer,While bards are a class builden for partys.
You can go with tukaw with only 1 Gptncy scepter,And you got a fine caster.
Just making sure you all understood.stats would be something like that:
    str 8
    dex 8
    con 20
    int 8
    wis 6
    cha 16
    for 32 pts.
    NOT a melee.

I adviced the 18/2 sorcerer/monk because in that case,You have no insightful reflexes. That means,That you`ll have to invest afew points in Int or Dex,Get awesome reflex gear,Maybe also exceptional,And yet find the regular gear sets for a sorcy to be deadly-Archimagi,potency,And all those.
