    Default Cannith Crafting

I would like to see the ability in Cannith Crafting to make named gear with lower minimum level or higher potential (without making shards of potential).

To compensate, the named crafted item could be a one-time craftable item that could not be recrafted/disjuncted or broken down for essence.

It would be nice to see the items in Crafting with Courtney recipes actually take on the recipe names from the crafting cookbook like Poor Man's Muckbane or Dol Dorn's Blade.

The ingredients could either require a recipe that you need to buy from the crafting vendor (as per the Risia festival recipe sheets) or maybe it could additionally require some collectable.

It might make the crafting barter device too complicated, but I would really like the ability to name my own crafted gear, or at least have crafted gear with interested names, that do not say Craftable in the description.

Yeah or just the ability to name the gear we craft normally.. I mean my Barb GRRONND already refers to Bodyfeeder Falchion "The Munchies" how cool would it be if it was ACTUALLY Called "GRRONND's MUNCHIES" for when I link it and such LOL.

I've seen this idea once or twice before. I agree that it would be kind of nice to put a name on an item you craft. I was thinking that it might cause some issues at the auction house but I changed my mind since getting an item description is easy to do.

well, if the named crafted items were sellable (and not bound) it would further unbalance the already inflated game economy. it would be better if the named items you could craft were bound to character or account.

on the other hand, it would also be nice if the game introduced player-operated pawn shops in public instance bazaar. a tent with vendor could be rented with ddo store turbine points, and then players could sell their own crafted or found loot, setting their own prices. It would be fun, because some players would probably get known for selling certain types of items. it would be more profitable to turbine, because the house earnings would not be going to some imaginary auction house, players would be paying for a chance to sell items over a period of time.
