We were somewhere around the Broken Highway on the edge of the desert when the buffs began to get casted…
We had two bags of lily petals, seventy-five strings of prayer beads, five sheets of Khyber prayer pamphlets, a salt shaker half full of powdered blood, a whole galaxy of multi-colored cryptmoss, luminescent dusts, spore pods, swamp pearls....Also a quart of heavy water, a quart of contagion, a case of amber vials, a pint of raw woodblossom nectar and two dozen dragonshards. Not that we needed all that for the adventure, but once you get locked into a serious collectables collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the woodblossom nectar. There is nothing in Eberron more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than an adventurer in the depths of an nectar binge. And I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon. Probably at the next rest shrine.
