I'd get on board with this, for the main reason of forgetting to set the character to MALE when I made it. If there were even a SLIGHT difference in body styles, I wouldn't have made this mistake.

*Someone sends me a tell.. Why Female WF?*

    I look.. ooops!
Oh well, I'll just fix that next TR..

Tr happens... Hmmm.. where's my sex option?

    Uhoh.....

And on a sort of tangent...
I must agree that being able to put ale bellies on a dwarf, or being able to just buy some dye to change your gear colors would be a big seller for me.

I find it a little annoying that most similar builds will look nearly identical due to gear restrictions, with the exception of the few that spend the TP on armor kits.

EDIT: +1 to the OP for doing the research and making a well thought out, coherent suggestion! Nice work.

Then opting to provide Warforged, additional bodies, say, a more curvaceous female body (open to any gender), a more androgynous body (open to any gender), and perhaps a larger more hulking body (open to any gender). as their physical body is mutually exclusive from their gender identity and a male Warforged might take a female style body simply because they think it looks funny, and a female might take a more hulking body because they want to look more combat oriented. They really are complex and should be allowed to expand any option open to them.
I think this is pretty much the best way to make everyone happy...if you want your character to match you stats...high Str/Con..make big giant smash-em guy...if you like the current model of said race it will likely be one of the choices. If you want to be an elf that was raised by dwarfs but don't have their metabolism or resistance to alcohol make him a bit chubby...and maybe a bit green :P

IOW more customization can never be a bad thing.

Sidenote: I think the Tauric Belt would be an awesome DDO store item

Oh and here's a Warforged w/ a mead belly...me thinks he was raised by Dwarves

Those arms are way too small for that guy to be a dwarf.

Not really, since WF have no actual fat (or anything like it) on their body, they would not have chubby, at best you might find stocky or a thick bodied WF, but they in realty can't be fat.

i think that we really do need more character customization, in DND you could make your character look however you wanted with little-no rules with it
in DDO you make a character that looks just about the same to the character immidiately next to you with the only difference that people see at all normally is the hair, and if said person has hat on and you can't see their hair then you cant tell too much

i want to be able to go into the harbor while in a group and not have to look for a character based on their gear but based on how they LOOK and a female WF would be a great way to start towards this.... and i really hate hearing that WF scream in a very very high pitched tone when they enter a rage while still looking like they should bellow not shriek, if i wanted a shreiking barbarian i'd have rolled a halfling barbarian (been there done that)

please devs please please please please!

Default Arise dead thread and do my bidding!

A Necro is a necro, but this is honestly the best Female Warforged argument I've read.

Now there are those that claim that Warforged look the way they do because that's how they came out of the factory...
...That would make sense... if there wasn't a clear discrepancy between average NCP Warforged unimpressive build and the XBAWKS HUGE Linebacker shoulders found on the Player Character Model!

Are you going to tell me all those 'Forged standing around in House Cannith have been extensively modified to fit through narrow doors?

Look, I'm not asking for a full-on gynoid or even "Dalek Bumps", those can be saved for the Store, but is it really too much for my Fem Forged to not look like she's been hitting the Miracle Gro a bit hard?

Some more feminine facial options would be nice... though from the looks of it a few other races need work in that department as well...

An excellent argument. This game really does need female warforged. Can you imagine the outrage that would erupt from male gamers if there were a female-only race?
