I know most of the vet gear of either tier is going to be not that useful, but at level 4, at least, the korthos set matters. Really, you pretty much want some to hit, as far as bonuses that will actually be useful for awhile (assuming you're not a caster, of course.)

Unfortunately, unless yer a barb, yer gettin protectors, which is really not that helpful.
