Deconstructing - Essences Not Appearing in Inventory?

I'm not sure if this was a fluke, or if it has happened to others.

I was deconstructing some items today, with my small ingredient bag open and set to auto-gather. When I deconstructed and the essences were created, the essence stack sizes in my bag didn't change. The essences didn't appear in my inventory or tiny ingredient bag, either. My tiny ingredient bag was also set to auto-gather, but only had dragonshards in it.

Could having both bags set to auto-gather end up preventing deconstruct essences from being put into a character's inventory, essentially deleting the created essences?

My crafter has 2 tiny bags, one for lessers and one for greaters. Both are set to auto-gather. Both do so as expected. Make certain you don't have a 3rd bag in your inventory? I have another toon with a tiny, small, and large bag and it take me a few mins to find where something went every now and again. What does the center text say when you deconstruct? It should tell you into which bag it goes.

I don't have a third bag on that character.

I relogged and checked, but the essences still weren't there. I checked the buyback tab, and they weren't there, either.

Next time I deconstruct, I will have to check the message of which bag. I'm pretty sure it said it went to my small, but I will pay closer attention when I deconstruct more items.
